There has been a time in everyone’s life, when they thought everything has failed, that the day is lost and good fortune has turned for the worse… There are, however, people that have been told all this by a doctor and their future has been laid out for them. These are the difficult times when aid is given by true professionals and overall generous people of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society. Having become acquainted with the staff, doctors, volunteers and the president of the Society branch in Limassol, Michalis Christofides, we were led to believe that we needn’t wait for the next charity exhibition in order to provide help for those who need it here and now. This has inspired us to create artworks that we have donated to the Society from our hearts. Opening the office doors each of us was truly happy to realize how lucky we are to have the ability to help and not be in the need of assistance ourselves. We don’t know what lies ahead for our paintings. Perhaps they will, if for a moment, divert patient’s thoughts from negative thoughts, or maybe they will be sold in order to support the Society’s funds. Either way, that’s not what matters. What matters is that any help or support you can provide for the Society will be gladly accepted and directed to a good cause.
