Marina Podgaevskaya
Marina Podgaevskaya graduated from the Serov St.Petersburg (Leningrad) Art School and school-studio of the ancient technique of painting.
During the time of her creative work, the artist moved from a well-known to her admirers figurative and in many ways surrealistic style with images of a female body, flowers and butterflies to abstract painting, which Podgaevskaya considers to be the highest degree of freedom. All the paintings of Marina are distinguished by a remarkable plastic and color.
She created more than 2000 canvases. Participated in more than sixty collective and personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Many of Marina's works are in private collections in Russia, the US, Western Europe. Original paintings of the St. Petersburg artist are kept in the Pulkovo Observatory, the University of St. Petersburg, the Embassy of Slovakia in Moscow.
