Igor Shirshkov

Igor Shirshkov was born  in 1962 in Ulan-Ude. He graduated from the architectural faculty of the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute. (Irkutsk National Research Technical University).   He is an artist, a professor of design department of the Russian State Specialized Academy of Art. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and a member of the Union of Moscow Artists. Participant in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad

Works with the interaction of different technique: object, design painting, sculpture, public art.   

Uses the interaction of abstract and figurative forms, experimenting with colors and materials.

Scientific work:

2006 - Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Principles of the formation of the artistic and plastic language of K. Malevich as a sign system in the context of the culture of the 20th century."

2015 – monograph on the topic "Questions of composition in the sacral image system»
