Olga Trushnikova

Olga Trushnikova graduated from Savitsky Art College in Penza and Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute, the studio of easel painting under the guidance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts T. Salakhov. Nowadays Olga is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Olga is a master of genre composition, her manner of painting and the colors are very recognizable. Her works are characterized by non-standard imaginative thinking and the search for new plastic solutions that testify to the high professionalism and bright creative individuality of the artist. The world of Trushnikova's works is filled with harmony. Her characters are depicted grotesquely and simultaneously with mild humor, feel themselves naturally and cozy in their midst. Communication of generations, the beauty of the surrounding world is fascinated by the richness of the color composition, associations with the heroes of folklore, childhood, with its overflowing fullness of life. The patriarchal way of life, with its slow rhythm of life, invisibly resists the running of time in modern metropolitan cities.
